These exterior monuments make a strong statement and visual identification for each school. The signs are constructed of stainless steel scales with the Lakehead Public School Logo in painted steel plate and an exposed concrete base. The construction of the signs was staged over a number of years. The horizontal plinth provides a platform for students and alumni to use in photographs commemorating their team achievements or graduation photos.
