Zhaoying holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architectural Design from China, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Canada. She is a registered Architect in China with 16 years of professional experience based in Shanghai.
Her work includes large-scale business parks, high-rise office towers, and transit-oriented mixed-use developments, as well as smaller projects in complex and unique contexts. Zhaoying has experience across all project phases, including project management and design coordination, working in multidisciplinary team environments. Her design approach emphasizes the relationship between architecture and site, informed by construction logic, economic considerations, and social and cultural aspects of architectural language, resulting in balanced and context-responsive design strategies.
