Confederation College Wellness Centre “Minowaadiziiwin” – 2017

39,900sf new build + 4,700sf renovation to the existing C-Wing of the Confederation College Shuniah Building. The new build incorporates a 2-storey recreation complex with a competition sized gymnasium, running track, weight rooms and multi-purpose rooms, as well as ancillary support amenities.
St. Joseph’s Care Group Centre of Excellence for Integrated Seniors’ Services (CEISS) Long Term Care – 2017

Campus development plan to accommodate a long term care facility adjacent to the supportive housing apartments. Design of the structural elements of this 7-storey, 261,350sf, 448-bed long term care facility supports an “Aging in Place” concept.

Responsible for the design of structural elements pertaining to both foundation and super-structure of the 3-storey, 96,400sf Hospital addition. Additionally, responsible for coordination of design with disciplines and completion of contract documents, and on-site construction review.

Design of foundations and super-structure of this 7-storey 110,000sf Desgin-Build project constructed of steel post and beam. Complete contract documents for construction and on-site inspections for review of structural elements in the design.
Confederation College REACH Building – 2011
Thunder Bay, ON // Structural Engineer
Foundation design including piles, pile caps, grade beams and sizing of custom steel trusses and glue laminated wood structures to support multi-storey curtain wall panel systems and slerestorey roof structure. The project was awarded funding from NRCAN for innovative design use of wood in non- combustable construction.
